Arriving at School

Arrivals at The Kidz Clubhouse are managed to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Please ring the doorbell at the front entrance for assistance upon arrival. It is important that all children are dropped off at the center before 9 am unless previously notified of a doctor's appointment via our Center App. Please note, no child will be permitted entry after 12 pm, regardless of circumstances, so alternative care arrangements should be made if necessary.

Ensure a responsible adult, at least 18 years old, accompanies your child to the door where a teacher or assistant will receive them to confirm their alertness, health status, and check-in for the day.

School Menu

At The Kidz Clubhouse, we provide well-balanced meals and snacks as part of our daily routine. A light breakfast is available from 7:00am to 8:00am, followed by lunch from 11:00am to 12:00pm, and an afternoon snack from 2:45pm to 3:15pm. Participation in the Children and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) ensures that all meals meet federal nutritional guidelines. We encourage all children to eat but will never force them. Each week, a rotating menu is posted on the bulletin board for parents to review.

Holiday Closures

The Kidz Clubhouse observes several holidays throughout the year during which our center will be closed. Please refer to our 2024 Holiday and Center Closure Schedule for specific dates, including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, and more extensive closures around major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Note that tuition is not prorated for these closures, and refunds are not available. We reserve the right to modify our closure schedule if necessary, and any changes will be communicated and posted promptly. This schedule helps us ensure that our staff can spend valuable time with their families and return refreshed to provide the best care for your children.

Parent Advisory Board

We are pleased to introduce the Parent Advisory Board (PAB) at The Kidz Clubhouse, a new initiative designed to deepen the collaboration between our families and the center. The PAB will serve as a dynamic platform for parents to directly influence and enhance the childcare experience, ensuring that we continue to meet the highest standards of care and education for all children. By bringing together diverse perspectives, the board will play a crucial role in shaping a nurturing and enriching environment.

Members of the Parent Advisory Board will assist with:

  • Program Development: Offering insights and feedback to help tailor our educational programs to better suit the developmental needs and interests of the children.

  • Event Planning: Helping organize and execute center events and activities that are engaging, educational, and fun for both children and parents.

  • Community Engagement: Strengthening ties with the local community and other stakeholders to support the center’s goals and expand its impact.

This initiative represents our commitment to making The Kidz Clubhouse a community-centered place where parents and staff work hand in hand for the benefit of our children’s growth and happiness.
